Two Hub members, Professor Ian Brown and Dr Ashley Banyard based at the Animal and Plant Health Agency, are part of a team which won the Nobel House Prize for their rapid diagnostic response to the 2021/22 avian influenza outbreak. The annual prize celebrates high-quality and impactful analysis and science across the UK government’s Department for Environment Food & Rural Affairs (Defra) group.
