Sohel Rahman

Public health researcher
Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research

Dr Sohel Rahman is based at the Institute of Epidemiology Disease Control and Research under the Directorate General of Health Service (DGHS) in Bangladesh. He is a medical doctor and young researcher with nearly ten years of experience in working on public health both within government and the private sector. Moreover, he has expertise in outbreak investigations and surveillance system activities along with experience in working on One Health in Bangladesh. He also works on food safety, Anthrax surveillance, and other zoonotic infectious diseases in Bangladesh.
