Professor S.K.M. Azizul Islam is based at Department of Physiology, Biochemistry and Pharmacology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Bangladesh. His role within the Hub is to analyse the antimicrobial residues in poultry samples, collected from different Hub countries.
Other areas of expertise and research include internal medicine, neuropeptides regulation, pharmacokinetic study of drugs, isolation of bio-active compounds from medicinal herbs, community-based animal health care, and molecular biology.
