Sitara Swarna Rao Ajjampur

Professor Sitara Swarna Rao Ajjampur is conducting studies for the Hub on prevalence of Campylobacter and other foodborne diarrhoeal pathogens in poultry workers. She has worked on multidisciplinary community and hospital based studies on diarrhoeal pathogens for over a decade. Her areas of expertise include bacterial and protozoan diarrhoea in early childhood, environmental enteropathy, soil transmitted helminths and diagnostic parasitology. She is Professor of Microbiology in the medical microbiology faculty at CMC.
