Sarah Hill

Dr Sarah Hill is a Sir Henry Wellcome Postdoctoral Fellow at the Royal Veterinary College. Dr Hill researches the epidemiology of zoonotic viruses using portable genomic sequencing and phylodynamic approaches. She is experienced at using the Nanopore MinION, and is supporting efforts to validate sequencing avian influenza virus on this platform. She is additionally co-supervising a student project that aims to understand H9N2 avian influenza virus transmission amongst different locations and poultry types in Bangladesh.
