Professor Paritosh Kumar Biswas leads on virology and One Health research for the Hub in Bangladesh, particularly laboratory investigations of avian influenza viruses. He provides substantial support in investigations of other poultry-borne zoonotic bacterial pathogens including Campylobacter jejuni, Salmonella typhimurium, Salmonella enteritis and Escherichia coli and their antimicrobial resistance patterns. He also assists other co-investigators and supporting staff to analyse poultry value chains. He is a professor in the Department of Microbiology and Veterinary Public Health at CVASU’s Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
