Dr Palika S. Fernando is responsible for the Hub’s microbiological activities in Sri Lanka. She will also utilise the knowledge and experience gained through the Hub to contribute to impact in the area of poultry production at national level. She is Head of the Division of Bacteriology at the Veterinary Research Institute (VRI) which is administrated by the Department of Animal Production and Health.
