Mohammed Samad

Public health microbiologist and emerging infectious diseases researcher
Bangladesh Livestock Research Institute

Dr Mohammed Abdus Samad is working at the interface between animals and the environment to address the growing crisis of antibiotic resistance. He is well placed to contribute to the research on the ecology, evolution and epidemiology of antibiotic-resistant bacteria and works at the interface between science and policy. He is the Senior Scientific Officer, Antimicrobial Resistance Action Center (ARAC), at BLRI.
