Melanie Hay

Melanie Hay is a postdoctoral scientist in microbiomes and metagenomics at the Royal Veterinary College. In the Hub, she analyses metagenomic datasets from poultry and integrates the output with antimicrobial usage/residue information as well as host genetics, epidemiology, and social sciences data to describe the evolution and flow of pathogens and antimicrobial resistance factors through poultry product distribution networks.
