Mat Hennessey

Mat Hennessey is a veterinarian with over ten years experience of clinical practice. Since completing a masters in One Health at the RVC and LSHTM in 2018, he had been working as a research assistant in variety of projects including agricultural economics, food safety, and antibiotic usage. In 2019 Mat joined the One Health Poultry Hub, undertook a review of knowledge of the poultry industry in Bangladesh, and travelled to Chittagong and Dhaka to complete a series of key informant interviews. In 2020, Mat started a PhD at the RVC, investigating the role of antibiotics in strategic healthcare decisions in India’s poultry sector.
