Jinnat Ferdous

Veterinarian and epidemiologist
The University of Queensland

Dr Jinnat Ferdous is a Hub researcher undertaking a PhD in Epidemiology at the School of Veterinary Science at University of Queensland. Her research, using mathematical modelling and spatial analysis, is aimed at assessing poultry traders’ movement patterns and practices, and identifying how these patterns influence the occurrence of zoonotic disease like avian influenza in Bangladesh.
