Dr Jinnat Ferdous is a Research Assistant in the hub based at CVASU in Bangladesh. Dr Ferdous is currently involved in conducting a qualitative study named “Value chain of processed and dressed poultry in Bangladesh: from slaughterhouse to consumers”.
She has over three years’ experience working on projects on zoonotic disease economics, antimicrobial residue, and zoonotic disease surveillance in wildlife. She has been awarded a PhD scholarship from University of Queensland and hopes to start in April 2021. She is interested in building her expertise in mathematical modelling and spatial analysis.
