Hayley MacGregor

Professor Hayley MacGregor supports the research design and methods for the social science research in the Hub. Originally trained as a medical doctor in South Africa, Dr MacGregor pursued further studies in social anthropology. Her research interests include zoonotic disease, the anthropology of development and rights and informal health providers, and concepts of care and chronicity in responses to lifelong illness. She is a research fellow at IDS.
