Professor Gerald Bloom supports the hub in formulating and implementing strategies for impact. He has worked for a number of years on health system adaptation to rapid changes in social, economic and institutional contexts. This has included studies of pluralistic health systems, where people seek care from a variety of public and private health facilities, and of strategies for strengthening health system governance. He is a research fellow at IDS.
