Francesco Pinotti

Researcher in mathematical modelling
University of Oxford

Francesco Pinotti is working on the development of data-driven mathematical models to better understand the transmission and evolution of avian influenza and other multi-strain pathogens.

He is a Postdoctoral Research Assistant in mathematical modelling, based in the Department of Zoology at the University of Oxford. He holds expertise in mathematical modelling of infectious diseases and individual-based models. His research interests include network epidemiology and the ecology of infectious diseases.
