Raman Muthusamy

Animal health and parasitic zoonoses researcher
Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (TANUVAS)

Professor Raman Muthusamy is the Hub’s research manager in Tamil Nadu state in India. His links with poultry farmers, industry and Indian governmental agencies will complement and strengthen the Hub’s activities in India. He is actively involved in research on genetic diversity of avian Eimeria in Indian poultry production systems, gut micribiome in indigenous chicken and recombinant Eimerial vaccine candidates. He works closely with the poultry industry on their needs-based research.
